| Born in October 1970, Mr. Yu Jin is a professor-level senior engineer. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Offshore Petroleum Drilling and Production from Southwest Petroleum Institute and a Doctor of Science degree in Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering from Southwest Petroleum University. From March 2011 to May 2018, he served as Deputy General Manager and General Manager of CNOOC Iraq Limited. From May 2018 to March 2020, he was Chairman, Party Secretary and General Manager of China United Coalbed Methane Corporation. From March 2020 to June 2022, he served as General Manager of Strategy and Planning Department of CNOOC. From March 2021 to June 2022, he concurrently served as Director of Production and Operation Office of CNOOC. In June 2022, Mr. Yu was appointed as Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of CNOOC. |
