| Born in December 1970, Mr. Zhou Xinhuai is a professor-level senior engineer. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Geoscience from Jianghan Petroleum Institute, a Master’s degree in Coalfield, Oil and Gas Geology and Exploration from Chengdu University of Technology, a Doctor’s degree in Petroleum Geology and Engineering from China University of Geosciences, Beijing. From March 2017 to October 2019, Mr. Zhou served as Chief Geologist of Donghai Petroleum Administration Bureau of CNOOC and Shanghai Branch of CNOOC (China) Limited. From October 2019 to March 2021, he was General Manager of Exploration Department of CNOOC Limited. From March 2021 to June 2022, he served as General Manager and Party Secretary of Hainan Branch of CNOOC (China) Limited, Chairman and General Manager of CNOOC Hainan Energy Co., Ltd., Secretary of CNOOC Hainan Regional Party Working Committee and Director of CNOOC Hainan Regional Coordination Leading Group, Vice Secretary of CNOOC Nanhai West Regional Party Working Committee and Vice Director of CNOOC Nanhai West Regional Coordination Leading Group. In March 2022, Mr. Zhou was appointed as Vice President and Party Leadership Group Member of CNOOC. In April 2022, he was also appointed as Chief Executive Officer of CNOOC Limited. |
