| Born in October 1968, Mr. Sun Dalu is a senior economist. Mr. Sun received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics Well Logging from Exploration Department of China University of Petroleum (Huadong) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of International Business and Economics. Mr. Sun joined CNOOC in August 1990 and served in a number of positions, including a crude oil sales representative of China Offshore Oil Marketing Company, Gas Marketing Manager of Marketing Department of CNOOC (China) Limited, Acting General Manager and General Manager of China Offshore Oil (Singapore) International Pte Ltd., General Manager of Marketing Department and General Manager of Oil and Gas Marketing Department of CNOOC Limited, and General Manager and Party Secretary of CNOOC Petrochemicals Import & Export Co., Ltd. From December 2013 to January 2017, he served as General Manager and Party Secretary of CNOOC Marketing Company and Vice General Manager of CNOOC Oil & Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. From January 2017 to March 2020, he served as General Manager of Strategy and Planning Department of CNOOC. In September 2017, Mr. Sun was appointed as Assistant President of CNOOC. From March 2020 to February 2022, he also served as Party Secretary and Chairman of CNOOC Oil & Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. In June 2022, he was also appointed as General Manager of Strategy and Planning Department of CNOOC. |
