On March 2, CNOOC officially launched its carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) industrialization program.

Through the CCUS industrialization program, CNOOC conducts researches on the whole-process offshore CCUS and demonstration projects, ocean carbon sink and carbon mineralization, and chemical utilization of carbon dioxide, etc.
