On June 28, the "2021 Forbes China – Best Employer" list was released, and CNOOC Limited was named "Most Sustainable Employer of the Year". The ranking measures companies in terms of five metrics: long-term development, groundbreaking innovation, ecological harmony, all-win and human resource management. CNOOC Limited making the list demonstrates that the company has won high recognition for its people-oriented and sustainable development.

It is the first year for Forbes China to launch the selection of "China's Best Employers", which was conducted through public registration, questionnaire surveys and expert reviews under the principles of professionalism and neutrality.
