On March 4, CNOOC Chairman Wang Dongjin chaired a meeting of the leading group on prevention and control of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). He urged the company to actively advance resumption of production and operation and ensure the supply of anti-virus materials and raw materials while making unremitting efforts in epidemic prevention and control.

The meeting also made requirements to effectively strengthen safety management on site, take targeted measures to ensure production safety, enhance employees’ awareness of self-protection, and provide psychological assistance to front-line employees, especially offshore workers.
