On August 6, CNOOC announced that the world's first 16-megawatt tension-leg platform (TLP) floating wind power platform, "Haiyou Anlan", was officially connected to the power gird of Lufeng oilfield, supplying green power directly to the offshore oilfield.

The company pioneered a coordinated multi-energy system combining offshore wind, conventional fuel generation, and energy storage. By replacing the oilfield's self-supplied fuel oil power generation with green electricity, it is expected to deliver 54 million kWh of electricity annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 35,000 tons.
