On August 22, Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC) received the National Laboratory Accreditation for its Physics & Chemistry Lab, conveyed by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).

CNAS is the accreditation body member of International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), as well as the signatory to ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement and APLAC MRA. With this authorization, the testing results issued by the Physics & Chemistry Lab will be recognized by 54 countries and regions as well as certain international companies.

Mr. Li Zhigang, the Chief Engineer of COOEC and the Office Director of its Offshore Engineering Technology Center said, "the National Laboratory Accreditation is of great significance in further enhancing the government and the society's confidence in the company and will strengthen the company's competitiveness in the market."
