On September 6, the foundation stone of the first COSL Hope School in Hainan was laid in Chengmai County, marking the startup of China Offshore Services Limited (COSL)'s Hope Schools Construction Aid Project. In order to offer assistance to education in Hainan Province, COSL made a donation of RMB 8 million to Hainan Hope Project.

As the highest donation ever received by Hainan Hope Project in 16 years, the fund was to be deployed in construction of COSL Hope Schools, assisting Hainan's renovation of primary and secondary schools.

COSL is the leading comprehensive oilfield services provider in offshore China, and it started to make nationwide donations to Hope Project last year, the efforts in Hainan as a part of the cause.
