Born in 1957, Mr. Zhang Jianwei received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Xiamen University. Mr. Zhang started his career in December 1975 and joined the Chinese Communist Party in September 1982. He served as Vice Director of the General Office of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. In December 2005, he was appointed as Vice Director and Party Leadership Group Member of the Standardization Administration, in charge of the General Office, the Comprehensive Management Department, the Chinese Communist Party Committee and the discipline inspection. He also served as a coordinator with the China National Institute of Standardization. Mr. Zhang joined CNOOC in December 2011 and serves as Director of the Board, Chief Compliance Officer and Party Leadership Group Member of CNOOC.
